Mayor Watkins proclaims June 20th to be Soroptimist International in Kingman Day, with incoming President Amie Wade and outgoing President Linda Pyles as past President and emcee Krystal Burge looks on.
It’s Official: June 20 is Soroptimist Day in Kingman!
In honor of our 75th anniversary, we were deeply moved to receive a Proclamation from the Mayor of Kingman, declaring June 20 as Soroptimist Day in our city.
This proclamation isn’t just recognition—it’s a declaration of legacy. It honors the thousands of volunteer hours, the countless lives impacted, and the unstoppable belief that women and girls deserve access to education, safety, and opportunity.
As we said during the ceremony:
“What we do may not always be seen by the world—but tonight, it was seen by our city.”
Thank you, Mayor, for acknowledging the past and encouraging the future. Here’s to continuing our mission with even more heart, hope, and courage.
